Feeding Guidelines: Nunn-Better Ocean Plenty may be fed dry or moistened according to your pet's preference. Feed 1/2 cup (approximately 4 ounces) twice a day. Or fill your cat's bowl in the morning and allow your cat to nibble throughout the day. If served moistened, add one part water or milk to three parts Nunn-Better Ocean Plenty. The serving size may be adjusted based on your cats size, age and activity level. Water is essential to your cat's good health; always provide plenty of clean fresh water. If fed moistened, feed only the amount that your car will consume readily. Pregnant or lactating cats may consume twice as much food as adult cats. Kittens can be fed Nunn-Better Ocean Plenty moistened with milk or water, 4 times a day at 3-4 weeks of age, in amounts that the kitten will consume in 10 minutes. At four months of age, the young cat may be fed as an adult. When switching to a new foods gradually increase the new food and decrease the old food over a 7 to 10 day period until you are completely feeding the new food. Recommended Feeding Amounts: 5 - 9 lbs: 1/2 to 1 cup daily amount (dry basis). 10 - 14 lbs: 1 to 1-1/2 cups daily amount (dry basis). 15 - 20 lbs: 1-1/2 to 2 cups daily amount (dry basis).
